Callosum FX Studio is the creative brainchild of legendary special effects master Tom Savini and renowned artist and effects creator Jason Baker.
Founded in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Callosum Studios is an independently owned and operated studio that specializes in creating on screen special effects for film, television, theatre, Live concerts, commercials, as well as custom masks and much more!
Past and present clients include World Wrestling Entertainment, The Misfits, Slipknot, Code Orange, ABC, AMC, Lady Gaga, and many more.

All of these things could easily describe the career of Tom Savini but none of them do justice in describing his influence on the horror genre. Horror classics like Friday the 13th, Dawn of the Dead, Creepshow and Day of the Dead are but the first rung on a career ladder than has spanned decades and continues to thrill genre audiences around the globe. With over 40 years in the special makeup effects field and being one of the pioneers of the Pittsburgh film industry.
